Welcome to Parks for Pooches.

The committee has been named an Ad Hoc to the Lower Allen Recreation & Parks Board. We are committed to providing a high standard of living for dogs in South Central Pennsylvania. Currently there has been no decision as to where the new dog park will be located. Money already collected will go to improving the Lower Allen Doggie Dugout at the community park and working with other townships interested in starting a park like this one. Parks for Pooches is not strictly a "West Shore" organization. We welcome and encourage East Shore residents to enjoy the park, get involved, and possibly lobby to start a park on the East Shore as well. Any Township officials who are considering adding a dog park to their municipality and would like Parks for Pooches' assistance in raising funds are welcome to contact vicki@parksforpooches.org.
